What year Outback? There are two very different distinctions of EZ30s.

What year Outback? There are two very different distinctions of EZ30s. It's an earlier one, the only real difference is the ECU tune....and the cost ;D ;D If I get it, I'll be l;ooking for that perfect XT6 body to drop it in....(or maybe a Brat )

Well, not really. The later (05+) version has two cam pos sensors, different intake manifold, and some other stuff I can't remember.

Also that neato ECU lockout thing that makes it impossible to use the stock ECU in any other car. I think it's the EZ30D is the "early" one with the metal intake, 230HP and the EZ30R which is the "later" with the plastic intake and 250 HP.

To get technical, there is no such thing as a USDM EZ30R. All EZ30s have D as their fifth digit.
But yeah, there are a ton of differences between the BE/BH OB EZ30D and the BL/BP OB and WX Tribeca EZ30D.

It is 4 inches to tall for the vortex engine bay I tried and nearly cried as it is only 1 inch longer than the EJ20 However It will fit the brat ;D
