Well I got my original 300k mi 2300 reinstalled. This, after the wastegate stuck on my '83 T-bird motor, & melted it down. Let me tell you, going back to 88hp after having 180hp is a bit of a letdown. It's back to having no power steering, no power brakes & no power underhood. *grins* I still love my lil' car, it's still like a go-kart to drive. Once I find a nice Alcyone to drive daily, I'll be building the n/a 2300 circle track style. I'd just like to have a more modern, and comfy car to slog the 21mi to, and from work. I've always had "different" cars, Alcyones fit that description to a "T".

Ah, to have a car named after a bean... good that you got it back on the road, though.

It feels good to know its fixed. DANG I miss my turbo tho!! I'm SO used to messing with the "ricers". Hopefully I'll be getting a "cash infusion" to buy me an Alcyone pretty soon.
Oh yeah & contrary tp popular belief, only 7 Pintos ever "blew up" This will ALWAYS be my hot rod. An Alcyone WILL be my daily sooner or later.
