I managed to wreck my 88 XT6 while swerving to miss a deer. I hate them now. I need a new front right fender, and a windshield and was wondering if anyone knew what price range I would be looking at for those. I also need a dash board, trunk seal, and several other things to get the car up and going good, but I plan on working on it a lot. Thanks everyone.

I assume you didnt miss the deer? Would also help if we knew your location. I may have the fender for you, but not if it needs shipped clear across the country.

windshield are rather cheap... well as expensive as any other car... I get a "deal" so anywhere from about $150-$400 or so depending. Get the generic seal if you like as well... the Subaru one is like $100 IIRC.
As far as the fender I got mine for like $40... course I had to drive 50 miles to get it... so more like $50.

Nope, I missed the deer, I hit a fire hydrant and some mailboxes instead, which the fire hydrant is why I need a new fender, and the mailboxes did the windshield in. Like I said, I hate deer now.
Anyways, I live up in Silverdale, WA. So it really shouldn't be more than $250 for a windshield than? I'm looking to get it fixed up ASAP cause I miss driving it. Also need to get the suspension fixed from the hydrant damage. And how hard is it to replace the half shafts on the car? I have the forward ones, just need the rear. Lot's of work to do, but I love my car! =-)

If you have comp. policy on your insurance, it should cover the windshield...

That's the only thing I have, but not sure if I'm still on my buddies or not. And how would I explain it to them about what happened? Cause it was over a month ago and I didn't have my license at the moment but they knew that. Not sure what I would do about that.

I live less than a hour away from you. Its to bad I just scrapped a 89 XT No, I didnt keep the dash But I do have alot of other parts (no windshield). But do have some fenders. Halfshafts are cake, if they arent rusted to the diff stubs. I might have a few of those also. You will need to make a trip out to my place. I practically have a parts wharehouse here

I'll have to make a run out there sometime than and see what you have. Color of parts doesn't matter to me, I'm going to have the car repainted at some point anyway. Windshield will be getting replaced soon so I can drive the car. And I already have the new front halfshafts, just need the back.
