i will trade my xt6 for 1 car a Subaru impreza 2.5l 98 model (my insurance keeps older cars cheaper)
will tade 1989 Subaru XT6 less than 96,000 miles on it comes with parts car. I'll pay traders title work if its a turbo model. hell I'll throw in a psp with 3 games and 2GB memory card.

I'd go with a 99 model. They've got the big fog lights and more aggresive looking front bumper, where as the 98 bumper and fogs look like a normal impreza.

iI'll pay traders title work if its a turbo model. There were NO Turbo Imprezas before 2002 in the US. And most 1st Gen Imprezas with a 5 speed have the EJ18 in them...a few with a EJ22, and only the 97-01 RS with a EJ25. And, though I think you have a REALLY nice XT6, I seriously doubt that anyone will trade you a RS Coupe to your XT6, as that would be big step backwards for them....now you might get someone to trade you a decent 1.8 Impreza for it, as that would be more in line of an even trade...

It's hard top pick up any RS Coupe for under $5000.... Unless it is a basket case.

The 2000 RS i sold to Steve that I bought wrecked cost me $3500 wrecked...then I had to fix it,(almost that again) which I ended up loosing money on when I sold it to Steve....granted prices have come down some on them since then, but I'm just saying, you're asking for an awful lot, for an awful little…..and that if I were you I wouldn’t get my hopes up that someone will trade you a Impreza RS Coupe (one of the most sought after Subarus) to your XT6. And I say that even though I LOVE XT’s….there is just a way bigger market for the Impreza RS out there….

is the 93 model impreza engine completely Plug N' Play with the 98 99 impreza engine?
if so i may buy a 93 and find a RS engine and slap it in their

I don't think they offered the 2 door in 93, I think they started making the coupe in 94... And I answered your question about the other motor at the other site....but maybe stick a EJ22T in it out of a 1st Gen Legacy Turbo, as they have higher potential than the NA 2.5's
