So!! I got the air conditioning reconditioned and a new hose to the condensor, and wow, ice cold AC. A dream come true .... .....but check this out....' When i'm running the AC, i get this super high pitched, semi quiet, feedback sound coming out of the passenger side of the dash somewhere...... sounds like somone putting a microphone up to a speaker, but only loud enough to notice, not ear piercing... but shrill. ONLY - when the A/C Compressor is COMPRESSING - Inside the car, not outside - ONLY when A/C button is depressed. - Immeadiatly stops when "OFF" button is depressed - still makes sound when factory radio is OFF - does NOT come out of the speakers - is NOT a leak, had the professional AC guys check for leaks Anyone EVER hear of this? or experienced it??? its wierd... and i can live with it if i have AC, but just curious if it will ever go away i have the trip computer, and the only thing i can think of is that the speaker that beeps for the trip computer sounds is somehow recieving unshielded electricity from the AC circuit and causing a literal feedback sound on compression. Any ideas?!?!

Hey Bacon!
Remember that thing I was saying a while back when you bought your 6?..... My guess is that there is something going on between the cabin evaporator and the Heater blower... run your AC for a while and look for water on the floor right under your dash.
I had the same issue with mine.

you should pull out the blower ans check to see if it has anything in it. it is pretty easy, you will need to pull the trim piece out below the glove box, then there are 3 screws holding the blower motor in place, disconnect the 2 electrical connections from the motor casing, and also make sure to pull the little rubber hose thing off from the bottom of the motor as well.... the motor should pull right out....
Does the sound change when you adjust the fan speed?
Mine did the same thing.... it could be full of water, but your seals are doing the job in keeping it off of the floor.

Maybe it's "wheezing" Yo know the AC IS an old system, it may just be a bit asthmatic from disuse.
