Yeah, Enterprise was by far the best Star Trek. It was getting better and better and it got canceled... naturally. I was really disappointed that they killed it. As I understand it, the whole reason behind it was Paramount Pictures' exclusive contract with UPN (as in United PARAMOUNT Network), so when UPN merged with WB to form CW. <shakes head - hears rattling noise> I think it did a good job of tying up some of the loose ends with the original series and some of the future series. I also liked the fact that it was just a bit edgier and that they didn't always resort to just gluing some piece of latex on a dude's nose and say he was some alien race. (I hate that!) That's why, even though they were for the most part humanoid, at least the Suliban, and a few others looked substantially different from all the alien races on the other Star Trek series.
I suppose the exception to that last bit, is "Species 8472" on Voyager, a few of the species on the original series (sure the effects were crap, but the idea for some of the were cool), and the Borg (yes, they were humanoid with stuff glued on, but they were a powerful concept for a "race").
I wish they'd bring Enterprise back, but it has absolutely been ruled out. >:-(

I hated Enterprise... could never get into it, but they also took it off TV here before the show "ended"(I don't have the cable) Anyway, I really liked the later seasons of Voyager and DS9 after Warf joined and they got the Defiant.... but then the whole shapeshifter thing got old and I stopped watching. I really have the love for the movies though. 2-4 are just classics, the real meat and potatoes. 5... yeah, can't even remember the name of it... they went to find "God" and it ended up being something else... sure got to the center of the galaxy fast... the ol' enterprise musta been MUCH faster then Voyager. 6 and 7 were pretty good. Really liked the battle at the end of 6, the undiscovered country.. 7 was generations... d**n good movie. 8 was First contact... meh. and 9 was insurrection. It was ok... ohh and 1... the vygr movie... well that one just sucked.

The only reason I watched Voyager was Terri Ryan (7of9). DS9 was good in my book because the cast was much larger and you had a much larger character pool. I've only watched Enterprise a few times, but what I saw was ok. What was learned from past shows was incorporated into this one, but the writers werent of the same class.

Something I've noticed about XT fans.. Most of us have a love of Sci Fi. The Lil Wedge is as Sci Fi as cars get. I'm a Trekker myself. Love the cheesy original series the best. Followed by TNG & Enterprise. DS9 was a bit slow for my taste, and for some reason I can't get into Voyager. 7of9 tho ... WOOT!

ACK! That first pic scared me Spok (pause) I feel that (pause) we have (pause) become closer then (pause) ever (pause) before haha I used to love the old trek..then the next generation for a while, but not so much these past few years. Where I work I've been packing Star Wars stuff for weeks and I really don't like that anymore either.

No... that's not gonna do it for anyone... -1 for trying to ruin the original... Leonard Nimoy IS Spock.. trying to make a newer crowd get into a new-old show is not going to work, and the old fogies like me will never accept anyone else as Spock

They did the same thing with Battlestar Galactica....and I actually like th enew show, I just look at it as a completely different show, that happens to have the same name
