OK...I've always thought about getting a Brat...so today, I took the plunge ;D I picked up a 84 GL-10 Brat...4WD, dual range 4-speed Only 99k on it, I got it off the second owner. Has T-Tops, and a high top Camper shell. Has the Jump seats, with the headrests, and seatbelts. The bed has ZERO rust in it , but it does have some rust in the rocker panels, worse on the drivers side. The wagone wheels are rusted pretty badly...so i may try to find a set of allows for it (I gave away a set of "H" type alloys a couple years ago...DOH!!!) It has a slight dent in the pass fender where the PO hit a dog. It had been sitting for a year or so, so it had caked on crud...had to was it with a scrub brush to get it all off...spent more than 2 hours just wasing the outside this afternoon after I got it home. No Radio ...wished I had taken my headset for my cell phone, as it has a FM radio on it.... t needs some attension, but seems to be a good base to start with. So give me some feedback.... Definatly nice. And def get some alloys for it. Mine looks a 1000 times better with them. I have a low topper on mine. not a real fan of the high ones. Mine also had the rusted rockers (sounds like me) and I ended up sanding it down to metal and bondo'n the uneven places. Then repainted it all.

Yep I see the future home of an EZ30 That's sweet Huck, not too bad rusty either. It just has the "Factory Installed" rocker panel rot.

Congrats, Is that the one that was on craigslist in TN? Yep, that's were I found it.... I'm gonna see what a little wax will do for it...but just from the trim up, as I'll not put it below the trim, as I figure there is going to be some work done down there, and I want the paint to stick ;D Todays project is to clean out the insides (cab and bed) It needs a pass. front axle, the inner boot is blown....and a pass. side turn signal lamp (in the front bumper) (anybody got one of these lamps laying around? Never done an axle on a EA81 car, how different is it from the newer gen stuff is it? Oh yeah, Rob, I don't care for the topper eiter, if I start driving it, I'll probably just take it off altogether...but I'm sure it being on there is a lot of why the bed is so nice.....even has the factory carpet for the bed...and the owners manual, and the original key box!

If Connie cant find her lens, I might have one. I took the topper off mine and now the bed is all rusty So, sometime before the rains start here, I need to prep it and put down some roll on bedliner.
