Yeah, I don't care for the topper myself...BUT...it's doing a good job of protecting the bed and jump seats.....but if I start driving it, I'll be taking it off ;D

Not 100% sure on my plans for it currently...other than do a good tune-up, and probably fixing the rusted rockers....and maybe a set of alloys. I have someone that would like to buy it....but I've always wanted one, so i'm not sure if I'll keep it for a driver, or sell it to a buddy.... By the way, I ordered: 4 NGK Plugs Plug Wires Rotor Button Dist. Cap Front Axle all for under $100

Kinda sorta related, I found an older EA81 coupe behind a barn the other day. It's a nice piece, in about the same shape(and color) as your sweet lil Brat. It's a DL 4WD manual (4spd?) I just need to catch the owner @ home to see if it's for sale. If it's reasonable, I may get this to fix & resell. Those coupes are mighty rare.

If the price is right I may be interested...

They did have a 4dr that came with 4WD, but I think it was a AT also. So, if its 4WD, then its been converted. Which would be sweet

Well, I finally caught the owner. Turns out he's restoring this cute coupe. I directed him to the USMB for help finding parts. He priced it but DAYUM! $2500?!?! Rob, it IS a Turbo Coupe, an '84 EA81T. I REALLY dunno my early Subies that well. I was sure it was 4wd, (saw the lever) but missed the turbo badges. I DID catch the manual trans & "H" style alloys tho. He says he bought it that way a year ago, but knowing you now your stuff, I'd bet it's been converted. Of course he was adamant that it was all stock.

Isn't that the same car that Jackie Chan drove in the Cannonball movie?

Firstly, Maybe a 4" lift or so? I don't know much about lifting, but I think that would be super sweet a little higher. Here is my/Rick's old BRAT with a 4" lift next to my wagon with same lift and 29" tires. I think you need a nice lift and some fancy 27"s or so
