I know I've got a lens here. Do you need the whole socket or just the lens part. I've got both.

The axle isn't too much different from the newer stuff. Edrach did a write up over at usmb for the ea series.

I'm in Tazewell VA, An hour and a half from Pikeville KY.
It sure looks a lot better with the wax job. The seller could have probably got more than he was asking if he took some initiative to clean it a little, lol.
I think $5 would cover the shipping, I'll shoot you a pm with my paypal.

well there's where you put that EZ30... Nice truck... mine was nicer but alas, I am far too tall for true BRAT ownership. Have fun with it, its a sweet truck Qman (USMB) still owns 2 Brats........and he's 6'7. Are you taller? I'm 6' 4", all legs, and not dedicated to owning a BRAT. It's just not comfortable to have my knees in the dash, and I'm not a big enough BRAT fan to deal with it... ya jive? Now if I ever somehow grew more that I was too tall to comfortably fit in my XT, well that's another story.... I'd drive that thing if I had to shoe horn my self in there. ;D

Awww she's pretty Huck. Nice score. Maybe if I can snag the one I've been eyeing we can have a Brat meet (of course we'd have to meet at Dave's since Becca is under the weather)
Jump seats FTW!!!

the EA81 axles can be annoying. i think the washer under the axle nut is concave and only goes on one way. if you put it on the wrong way it'll cause problems. i'd check out USMB, it's been over a year since i helped a buddy with one, but i remember it wasn't as straight forward as XT6 and EJ stuff....not for me anyway. you're going to swap away anyway, just leave it until you figure out what axles you REALLY need for it!

All of the EA series have that spring washer. The cupped part goes towards the hub. The FSM says theres a paint mark to ID it, but after 20+yrs and multiple changes, they dissapear.

I'll beat Gary to it...
...Nice hit, Hotdog!
As much as I don't like lifting cars, that's one of the few vehicles that I'd lift. Maybe a 4" lift or so? I don't know much about lifting, but I think that would be super sweet a little higher. I'd love to own a Brat, especially with the T-tops and the jump seats. I don't think I'd have the topper... I'd just leave the bed open and show off my "crazy" back seats to folks.
AWESOME find bud!
